Dear Friends, Alumni, Students, and Faculty,

      Welcome to the Faculty of Education.  I wish you all success in this year and do hope that this year provides you with wonderful growing experiences within the Faculty of Education, Assumption University Campus, a cathedral of learning as you teach, inspire or prepare to teach and learn.

     The Faculty of Education is progressing remarkably through the creative and innovative work of the teaching faculty and staff. We are planning new programs and trying our best to cater the educational needs of all the stakeholders. Our strength is our students of different nationalities and their complete involvement in academic programs. We are trying to create a intellectual platform to nurture and promote global education by inviting eminent educationists from all over the world to share their knowledge and wisdom. Our collaboration with several universities in USA, Australia, U.K and Europe etc., is really working well for quality education and training. Our faculty newsletter is a medium to connect with alumni and graduates and keeps them aware of our work. We have also planned to publish International Journal on Education and the first edition will be out by June 2006.

     I would again like to wish each of you a successful learning year at the Faculty of Education. As a team we must continue striving to be the best in our programs and contribute for the nation building.
